Regular check-ups can help prevent major problems in the future while being much more cost effective than letting any issues go undetected

Benefits of Dental Check-Ups

Check out the benefits of visiting our Narre Warren dental clinic for good dental health. The following are a few reasons why regular visits can help maintain healthy teeth:

Early Detection of Dental Issues: Gum disease is one of the most common dental problems, leading to tooth loss. However, because gum disease does not show any signs initially, you may have had this problem for a long time without knowing anything about it. Regular checkups with your dentist are important so that they can monitor ongoing issues before they get out of control or worsen over time!
Bad breath is a thing of the past: Bad breath can signify more serious dental problems. Regular professional cleaning is the first step in preventing any issues. A good clean will remove tartar from your teeth and calculus buildup that might cause a bad odour to develop over time.
Protect your overall health: Studies show that taking care of your natural teeth can positively impact other parts of the body. Women who are regular dental checkups reduce their risk for heart attacks by 33%. They also experience lower healthcare costs due to early detection when they take good care of themselves and regularly visit dentists.

Depending on what treatment you need, a dental checkup and clean can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

In general, most routine patients will just require deep cleaning, scaling polish with fluoride, which takes 20-30 mins.

Pregnant women are often hesitant about visiting the dentist for fear that it will harm their baby. But after all, there are medications and procedures to go through during a dental visit which may not be suitable for pregnant woman in particular.

This is a question that many pregnant women struggle with, and it’s one you’re probably asking yourself right now. The good news: going to the dentist during pregnancy isn’t as big of an issue for most people.

But just to be on the safe side, please consult with your doctor or obstetrician if you can visit your dentists.

It’s easy to keep your teeth white and healthy with these five steps:

  1. Proper brushing twice a day
