Dr. Phil Au

Dr. Phil, born in Asia but grew up in Europe and Australia, is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and French.

In addition to his Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of Western Australia, Dr. Phil also holds a degree in Biomedical Science (Honours) and a Ph.D.; all of which were conferred at the University of Melbourne. An author of more than 10 publications, Dr. Phil is passionate about continuing professional education and enhancing his skills, with a special interest in wisdom teeth extraction, orthodontics and dental implants.

Dr. Phil’s approach to patient care is to be honest, caring and always have the patient’s best interest at heart. His gentle and caring attitude enabled him to successfully complete the treatment of many satisfied patients in both rural and metropolitan Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria. He is also very passionate about giving back to the community through dental volunteering missions in developing countries. An avid balloon animal twister, Dr. Phil has made the dental treatment of many young school children a pleasant experience by bringing a smile to their faces.

During his spare time, he enjoys fitness, swimming and skiing, reading crime thriller novels, watching TV shows (both Western and Asian), traveling and the occasional night out.
